In Grade 10 Mathematics at Roots to Routes Academy, students will explore advanced mathematical concepts, including quadratic relations, linear systems, and trigonometry. This course is designed to make connections between different areas of mathematics and real-life applications, ensuring that students gain a deep understanding of the material.
Students will learn to apply problem-solving strategies, reason logically, and communicate their mathematical thinking clearly. Our approach integrates culturally relevant examples, helping students see the importance of math in their own lives and communities.
In Grade 10 English Language, students will further develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. This course will help them analyze more complex texts, explore different genres of literature, and express their ideas with clarity and confidence. In Grade 10 French Language at Roots to Routes Academy, students will build on the foundational skills they acquired in Grade 9. This course emphasizes communication in French, with a focus on interacting in both familiar and new situations. Students will enhance their listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities while exploring various Francophone cultures.
The curriculum integrates creative and critical thinking exercises, helping students apply their language skills in practical, real-world contexts. This course is perfect for students who want to deepen their understanding of the French language and broaden their global perspective.
