• Love music? Encourage them to analyze the lyrics of their favorite songs. What themes or messages stand out? This simple activity strengthens reading comprehension and critical thinking.
• Big into gaming? Have them design their own video game levels or research the physics behind gaming. It’s a fun way to mix creativity and STEM.
• Passionate about sports? Ask them to analyze player stats and write about what strategies make their favorite athletes successful.

By tying learning to their passions, you help your teen see education as a part of their daily life, not just something that happens in the classroom.
